Breathing and other sounds

Design and layout of the free program booklet for the (fictional) performance “Breathing and Other Sounds” by artist Itziar Okariz, containing all the necessary information about the exhibition.

In this piece, the artist plays and experiments with the disarticulation of language, breathing, silence, and the repetition or omission of sounds and onomatopoeia. These concepts are visually represented in the booklet through changes in typography and weight, adjustments to letter spacing, and various visual plays and compositions inspired mainly by calligrams and surrealist works.
